A monstrous explosion ripped through Beirut destroying everything in its path, a blast so powerful the waves could be felt as far as Cyprus! The capital is still struggling to come to terms with the deadly events of yesterday.
A catastrophic blow to a country already struggling to tackle a deadly virus.
Over 100 people have already been confirmed dead but sadly with thousands still missing this number is expected to rocket in the coming days, as emergency workers desperately dig through the rubble to find survivors.
With over 4,000 injured, Hospitals and medical facilities are overwhelmed with patients requiring lifesaving treatment bringing them to breaking point.
The damage has been catastrophic with thousands of homes, businesses, hospitals and schools totally flattened, leaving the city and its residents in utter turmoil.
