PAKISTAN

Following the Earthquake in 2005, Floods in 2010 & 2011, as well as bomb blasts and the fight against terrorism. 40% of Pakistan continues to live below poverty line. Especially in the province of Sindh, where a shocking 75% of people live below the poverty line.

To assist the vulnerable, GRF are providing basic necessities to help those who are most vulnerable, including food parcels, water pumps and orphan sponsorship.

GRF works within communities and villages in Pakistan to install water pumps and wells for their residents. We build communal wells and water pumps used daily by those in need for many years to come, ensuring they have access to clean, safe drinking water. These systems ensure that people have access to clean water, minimising the risk of water borne infections which pose a risk to so many people.

The Water Project aims to reach as many vulnerable people as possible around the world. We aim to alleviate the suffering of those in need, wherever they may be, and provide them with the most basic necessity that is clean, safe drinking water.

When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqa Jaariyyah (ceaseless charity), knowledge which is beneficial, and a virtuous descendant who prays for him – Sahih Muslim
