As the month of Dhul Hijjah reaches an end, it is once again time for the holy pilgrimage of Hajj for those fortunate enough, and time for us to make a sacrifice for the sake of Allah to feed the hungry. This year, why not perform your Qurbani in some of the worst affected areas around the world, where our brothers and sisters are going hungry every day. Let’s make their Eid a little brighter and a little better by providing their family with a decent meal!
Last year, Global Rahmah Foundation’s Qurbani Project saw Qurbani sacrifices being distributed in India, Palestine, and the Jordan and Lebanon refugee camps which are home to Syrian and Palestinian refugees fleeing war, conflict and destruction. Gaza is still reeling from the war last year, and is still under siege. Children living in these places suffer from some of the worst cases of malnutrition we have seen – with little to no food, they are lucky to have one hot meal a day. You can make a difference this Eid.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “For every hair of the Qurbani you will receive a reward from Allah, and for every strand of its wool you will receive a reward.” (Tirmidhi)
Last year, we provided hundreds of families with the luxury of meat, something they rarely get to eat or feed their children. Your generous donations ensured that families around the world got a hot meal on Eid. Let’s do it again this year. Let us sacrifice for the sake of Allah so that those less fortunate than we feel the joy of Eid again this year. Let us make sure that while we celebrate, we are happy in the knowledge that a needy family is celebrating with us. Your generous donations are the only way that we can do this. Will you help today?
Donate your Qurbani to GRF, and make a difference. Help us to help them.
Qurbani is the traditional sacrifice of an animal for distribution to those in need on Eid. Can you help someone celebrate Eid with a meal which contains meat, a luxury some simply cannot afford?
We offer Qurbani in six countries around the world, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh
